I read the comments of one Rajesh on the travails of a BSF prahari. I totally agree that sometimes we are ourselves responsible for our subjucation. But point is not how to treat an individual outsider. The point is that the outsiders as a tribe are over riding us. We have no say in ourvown organisation. These outsiders have no experience or professional capability to command us but they continue to do so because the rules have been made in such a manner. It is the rules that need to be challanged and got over turned.
Ya.. I totally agree with the fact that these outsiders i.e. IPS officers not only lack professional acumen but they are also very reluctant to project the right ful demands like Organised Cadre issue to the Central Govt as it will have a negetive effect on their own carriers. Also I have myself seen many IPS officers who come new to BSF donot even know about MMG and 81 mm mortar, mess cutting, and many other very basic knowledge about this force. The cadre officers of the rank of DIG and IG are languishing in extremely tough field area like J&K(Except Jammu n srinagar) , Northeast(Except Shillong)etc and the IPS officers always have plum postings like Delhi, Amritsar,jammu, Shillong , kolkata, siliguri , Bikaner, Jodhpur etc. This is a well known fact. Also they are the one who make policy but have never served alongside the jawans in a BOP. Visiting once in blue-moon delivering moral-boosting lectures to BOPs willnt serve any purpose. They always crib about the effeciency of BSF offrs but forget that on their(BSF Offrs)shoulders only the force is some how functioning. Now this latest PB-4 issue. None of the so called leaders have the spunk in their balls to address this rightful demand to Central Govt.. Also there is a latest order regarding the life-time membership of BSF officer messes issued by ADM Dte, FHQ under signature of DIG(ADM) FHQ. It spells out all the IPS/Ex-Army officers (Who have served BSF for any length of period)are eligible for the Life-time membership . But in case of cadre officers the minimum service length has been fixed at FIVE YEARS and on top of that it SHOULD BE UNBLEMSHED SERVICE.. Wat a F... we are being discriminted in our own home.. Wat more to say..
